About Me

Hi, I am Elsie.

I am the owner of Flourish Bakery in Howick, South Africa. I opened a home bakery at the beginning of 2019 in the beautiful town of Howick while taking care of my mother who has dementia. I have always had a passion for baking and most of my recipes are family secrets that I have collected over many years. I pour heart and soul into every product I bake and I find it a blessing to be able to make such delicious creations. I enjoy experimenting with new techniques, ideas and flavors & keep my products plain and simple. If I’m not in my kitchen you might find me in my garden!
